CLOUDMAKER GLASS STUDIO
Established in 1983 by Doug and Crystal Taylor, the
studio at present also includes Chris Konz
Since
1983, the studio has completed over 3,500 projects
ranging in size from one square foot to over 1,200
square feet in a single project. The studio has done
religious, commercial, and residential works.
Cloudmaker Studio executes its own original designs,
and does all phases of fabrication, beveling,
painting, and glass carving.
Cloudmaker Studio has competed in Fine Art
competition since 1986.

1986 -
Honorable Mention-Community Center for the Arts,
Michigan City, IN. Judge: Don Vogi, Professor of
painting and printmaking at the University of Notre
Dame.
1989 -
1st and 2nd place-South Haven Center for the Arts,
South Haven, MI. Judge: Richard Lines, MFA Columbia
University, BEA Chicago Art Institute, designed and
developed curriculum at St. John’s University,
DePaul University, and Layton School of Art.
1990 -
Award of Excellence-Fine Arts Festival, Valparaiso,
IN. Sponsored by Indiana Arts Commission of National
Endowment for the Arts. Judges: Susan Hunt, MFA
Indiana University, Professor-University of
Wisconsin; Gloria Komosa, MS Purdue University;
